  Ahh The Frosty Chalice in the Purple Kingdom. 🍻 I found myself wandering through Nakuru; a place that calls itself a "city" with the same unearned confidence of a toddler claiming they can fly. It’s a town, let’s be honest. A beautiful, purple-hued town draped in the Jacaranda bloom, looking like a scene from a dream I once had after eating too much aged cheddar. As I drove through streets raining violet petals, I realized that such aesthetic perfection required a spiritual counterweight. I needed the sweet nectar of the gods. The anointed brew. The barley-based hug. The sun dipped low, and my inner Elephant; thirsty, majestic, and prone to bad decisions steered my chariot toward Platinum 7D. Now, listen dear reader. This place used to be the pulsating heart of the town. These days? It’s a bit quieter. The sound system is... let’s call it "vintage." It sounds like a choir of robots having a collective mid-life crisis a bit noisy, a bit cranky, and possibly screaming for a better sound engineer or a dignified retirement. But we are not here for the acoustics. We are here for the temperature. I croaked out an order for a holy chalice, and when the server emerged, time literally slowed down. I swear I heard a harp. The bottle was bathed in an angelic light, shimmering with a frost so divine it could have preserved a woolly mammoth. Everything else went silent. The cranky speakers were hushed by the sheer glory of the condensation. When that bottle hit the table, it was colder than a polar bear’s toenails. That first sip? Dear reader, I closed my eyes and I was no longer in a fading bar. I was floating beneath a blooming Jacaranda tree in half-gravity, possessing the inner peace of a Disney princess who just found out her stepmother moved to a different kingdom. My soul did a little shimmy. The BeermeterTM Verdict: - Ambience: Aging like a fine cheese left in the sun (4/10). - Sound: A mechanical argument between a blender and a ghost (3/10). - Beermeter: 10/10. Sub-zero. Crisp. Life-altering. Fellow Elephants. If you want a beer that is colder than your ex’s heart and more refreshing than a tax refund, Platinum 7D is your watering hole. The coolers are doing the Lord’s work, even if the speakers have given up on life.

  Had a craving for local food(ugali, greens, meat). We decided to dine here. The food was really good fresh, and tasty. The serving also, very generous we had to carry almost half the portion. Their customer service is one of the best.
