Staff went nonstop during a packed New Year's Eve and handled it well for a new place — just know the atmosphere is 100% British soldiers and loud music, so come ready for that vibe or ask them to turn it down.

    The scenery is amazing. There are games you can play as you wait for your food or play after..whichever. Good service too

    Very good fish and chips and other carnivore dishes but you can also find some vegetarian options. Putting 4 stars only for 3 reasons : tap beer wasn't available, only one dessert out of the three that were on the menu was available and the music was quite too loud for a weekday lunchtime (the waiter reduced it a bit after we spoke to her though).

    We had lunch : good food, good portion. The marinated lamb was very good. Setting and staff is nice. Atmosphere : 100% british soldiers and music.

    Didnt know that a nice and cool joint existed in Nanyuki...until recently i visited urban smoke... Very welcoming staff and their meals are on another level...

    Visited here with my husband on New Years Eve afternoon. Before long a lot of our friends arrived and the place became packed. I have to say, I was unbelievably impressed at the staff and owner. They worked non stop for hours when another huge party of people arrived. There was no letting up for them. As a newly opened business with no prior experience of dealing with this volume of customers, they really did exceptional. Yes there were a few little hiccups along the way, but they were dealt with efficiently and effectively. A great team who can clearly work together under pressure. Not a single raised voice, no tears and no staff complaining...they just got on with it. Food was really tasty . All freshly cooked, and I was able to be catered for being celiac. The place was clean and the service outstanding. With a bit more time and experience, this will definitely be the place to be. Will definitely be back
