This place is a gem -- or potentially. Great location right at the museum with all of it's visitors, excellent service, and a good selection of food. A little attention and investment in the decor would make it even better, as, to be frank, the first impressions are not as good as the place proved to be. Decor and food displays could be improved and brightened up, to attract more customers; menu made more visible from the entrance, and the balcony opened out to take advantage of the great views. Just some examples! An interior designer could work wonders on this site and bring in the crowds -- Nairobi customers are quite sophisticated.

Been here a couple of times as I worked at the museum. The food & coffee is fine but not that special. The service is very good and the waitresses are so friendly!! I always enjoy a nice chat when I stop by :) There’s a balcony with a view over the museum garden which is great too!!

This cafe is located right on the premises of the Nairobi National Museum, so it's very convenient to get a quick bite to eat. And that's what we did after visiting the museum. We got some an ice cream before heading out. The service was fast, although I would not compare it to a full-fledged restaurant because of our small order.

Right opposite the National Museum, and therefore a very convenient place to stop for lunch if you're in between sights in this complex. The indoor seating is clean and good, but the tables on the terrace offer a fabulous view of the surroundings - trees, flowers, birds, and more. The food is not mind-blowing, but it's adequate enough: we had the refried beans (not very authentic) and the beef tacos (pretty good).
