Saw this place on TikTok and as a lover of Swahili food decided to try it, been there twice tried their Biryanis(so yummy) and the pilau with Arosto. Their Arosto is very tasty as well. Loved their ukwaju juice too, visited on Saturday and the orders didn't take long and there was always a waiter on standby. If you want Swahili food in Nairobi try this place.

The customer service is nice and friendly. The food y excellent and worth the price. The goat soup incredible taste, the fish fingers were good but the tartar sauce was quite different from the tartar I know and didn’t have much flavour. On the other hand, the meat biryani rice was excellent! Highly recommended, all GF.

Excellent place for Kenyan food, African cuisine. We ordered goat soup, it was tender and soothing, along with Swahili palak, our server accommodated my request for chili sauce, gave us green chili sauce to go with the green palak, and my girlfriend and her childhood friend both got dryfried goat, came with rice, and soup. We also ordered a vanilla milkshake, and apple juice.

We had a fabulous dining experience here at Swahili plate. The staff are all very warm and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. After the meal when the stop sauce taking pictures they offered to take a fabulous group photo for us in front of their sign and when we said we were doing some sightseeing and planning and going to massai Market one of the employees kindly offered to walk us over personally to make sure that we were able to cross the streets safely and once we arrived at the market appointed one or two of his friends and vendors to watch over us and take us around the market and we had an absolutely incredible experience and felt very safe the entire time. We picked up a bunch of great souvenirs at reasonable prices. So overall this is a great dining experience and they went above and beyond. An easy 5 stars! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
