  It’s probably a 4 star but the pizza was average at best. Seating outdoor was pretty nice. The avocado on the pizza were large slices and if it was sliced thinner or turned into guacamole, it would be much better. The iced coffee is pretty mediocre in Kenya (or average at best). Overall, cool, decorative inside the dining space. I could give it 4 start but the food is average. Maybe if we came at 6pm instead of 8pm, it would have been better. The kitchen closes around 8:30pm (if my memory is correct). I think we paid 2200 KES per person — 6600 total with a drink/beer (so if we paid 1200/person, I would consider a 4 star).

  Waited 1h15m for pizza on a quiet Wednesday evening... then the first two pizzas were served absolutely cold. The place is still nice but the service and food quality have massively dropped since our last visit a couple of years ago. We’ve always looked forward to eating at Le Rustique on our occasional trips to Nanyuki, but unfortunately we won’t be returning there.

  Great hidden Gem! A very cozy and atmospheric location! The food was good but the salad not great and here is why. The Greek salad should not have lettuce. Also, when you bring the green salad bring some home made freshly baked bread. The oil was quite weak, like a low quality olive oil. Now that you removed the lettuce, add green paprika, and more oregano. The pizza however was ungodly good! That rustica pizza was probably one of the best pizza ever eaten! The only - is that the meat was a bit too salty, but very tasty! Good quality! Can’t wait to come back!!!

  We were a group of 8 for a holiday in Nanyuki. For starters, we ordered the specials - spicy lentil soup, piri piri halloumi with red onion marmalade and the feta stuffed falafel which are fresh and delicious. For the mains, got a lot of items from Caesar chicken salad, grilled snapper, pizzas, chicken pesto spaghetti and spicy zucchini pasta. Have to say it was all top notch and comparable to the best places in Nairobi. This was complements by a beautiful garden seating, not to forget mentioning a tastefully done indoor seating. Service was great too. Highly recommended if you are in Nanyuki !

  The best thing about this place is the atmosphere. It's true to its name and has lots of greenery. It was not busy at the time,so it was perfect to relax. There is a swimming pool and a small kid's playing area. Food was okay and fairly priced.
