I visited Java as it is an easy go-to eatery in Nairobi and as usual the ambience and service were great but the food, despite looking great was a bit concerning. I had the chicken fajitas and it was all good until I started eating the fries which I believe were stale. My husband and I got a bit unwell afterwards. I hope the quality improves!

The service was bad, took so long and when the orders came they were wrong. Java please up the game of Diani. The waiters seemed overwhelmed or maybe it was the kitchen. Waited almost an hour for our order.

After waiting for more than thirty minutes for a chicken, cheese and mushrooms sandwich on brown bread, I got a soggy sandwich on white bread and looked not like a chicken cheese and mushroom sandwich

⭐ 1 Star · Customer for 7 Years I’ve been a loyal customer at Java House Diani for seven years and always enjoyed the place. But the new smoking ban – even in the outdoor area – is a huge disappointment. Diani has many tourists, long-term visitors, and travelers, and a large number of guests here are smokers. Until now, the outdoor seating area worked perfectly for everyone, with smokers and non-smokers sitting together without any issues. Now smokers are completely excluded. For many regulars (including myself), this is a clear reason to stop coming here, especially since there are plenty of alternatives in Diani that respect all types of guests. Very unfortunate, Java House — this is how you lose loyal customers.

We waited 30 min for our drinks and almost 1 hour for our food. The beef was ordered medium, was brought well done. We got told after finishing our food that they only have 1 „chef“ but this still does not explain Why the table which ordered after us got their food 15 minutes before us
