  We had a mixed experience. There was an uncomfortable situation with nearby guests that we brought to the attention of staff, but it wasn’t handled as seriously as we would have hoped. The salmon was unfortunately overcooked. On a positive note, the service was friendly, the drinks were good and the salmon nigiri was enjoyable. With better handling of guest concerns and more consistency in the kitchen, this would be a much stronger dining experience.

The ambiance strikes a balance between elegance and comfort, making it suitable for a dinner date, a night out with friends, or a relaxed evening with cocktails. The menu at EZO blends Japanese and Asian-inspired cuisine with creative, contemporary flair. Expect dishes like sushi and sashimi, hand rolls, ramen or noodle dishes, as well as fusion mains and signature cocktails. Meals are crafted with attention to detail and presentation, and the restaurant offers a fine dining level experience though prices are on the higher side, aligning with the premium setting. #EatOutApproved

  I don't even know where to start, everything was amazing! I had a really nice solo birthday dinner date a couple of nights ago and I couldn't have asked for better. The food was delicious, I especially loved the Khemer salad; it was fresh, crunchy and just right. Service? I can't thank Daniel enough for the smooth, exquisite experience. He was just the best! Lastly, the little surprise at the end...guy's you shouldn't have, but thank you. All in all, I loved my night and I'm definitely coming back.

  From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a warm smile. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a DJ playing light music that made the evening even more enjoyable. Our waitress was kind, professional, and answered every question with a smile. You can really feel the attention to detail and care in every aspect of the experience. The food was both beautifully presented and absolutely delicious- especially the tuna sashimi and salmon roll dishes (as shown in the photos). Kudos to the management for maintaining such high standards- I truly hope you keep it up! Highly recommended, a fun and tasty experience! Thank you for a wonderful evening.

  Visiting Ezo was one of the main attractions we had during our trip to Nairobi. We knew about the place well in advance and were quite hyped. Maybe high expectations played a negative role here, though unfortunately they were not met. I mean, it was a really good experience and probably the best food we had in Nairobi in the first place, it just wasn't special or sensational, it was missing that small piece of magic that one might anticipate when visiting a place with Michelin star ambitions. We tried a few starters, two mains and delicious seasonal cocktails. The drinks were top notch, I give it to them. As for starters, it was cool to see some fish. This is a truly rare beast in Kenya. Mains were ramen and red snapper with garnish. Everything was tasty and so on, but it was not something I would blindly recommend and I am not sure now that the place in general is worth a detour if you know what I mean. Also, someone from the staff was non-stop recording Instagram stories without asking our permission, that was a bit annoying.
