Ask for Apollo as your bird guide—he'll track down the Sokoko Scops Owl and African Pita mid-forest, and you'll spot the Golden-rumped Elephant Shrew if you're patient. Fees run high for Kenyan standards, but this is one of the last intact coastal forests in East Africa, and Johnathan or Apollo will make sure you see more than just trees.

Ask for Apollo as your bird guide!! He’s fantastic and knowledgeable. He found us the Sokoko Scops Owl and African Pita in the middle of the forest. Amazing work!
