Eco-friendly, exclusive wilderness camp Excellent wildlife viewing (elephants, Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, lions) Luxury tents/cottages with en-suite bathrooms Activities include game drives, nature walks, cultural visits, and sundowners Very quiet and scenic.

Sabache is an absolute gem. A community run eco lodge nestled right behind Mt Ololokwe, a sacred Samburu mountain. The location is magical, but the hospitality was even better. Albert, the manager was very accommodating. He took the time to tell us more around the mountain, Samburu people and evening taught us some Samburu. Martin was our guide into Samburu national park and it was such a treat. His knowledge of EVERYTHING in conservation and wildlife was very impressive, but particularly birds. The campsite is also very cool, with great facilities. A little bit tucked away from the lodge but was no issue. If you want a truly unique cultural experience I couldn’t recommend Sabache Lodge highly enough!

Pitched a roof tent here. The people are very nice, food is super good, showers are clean and the hike is amazing (10-11km, very doable. We did it in 5 hours inc breaks, recommend starting at night. Definitely recommend visiting

We had a great stay at Abache Camp. Slept in the cottage, had 3 single and 1 double bed with ensuite bathroom and spacious veranda with an amazing view! Food was very nice, staff professional and welcoming.We enjoyed the beautiful scenery, took a walk around the camp with the guide, and were lucky to see an elephant very near the camp.We wish we had booked more nights to have time to explore the several activities offered like hiking and rockclimbing.
