    The water is very brown due to the nearby river. Swimming there does not seem like a good idea. There were almost no tourists, and there was no security or police presence. Beach boys are very aggressive and will not stop harassing you. We had go leave after 10minutes. I highly recommend other beaches in Malindi.

    Water insanely brown from river sediment (allegedly), extremely annoying and harassing beggars. No other tourists or security. Other beaches further south are much nicer!

    Makes the beach interesting. The ship wreck is on the left and Vasco Da Gama pillar to the right ( when facing the ocean) Drove under it as well . Very cool 😎

    It’s definitely worth seeing at least once. However, be careful when walking on the pier, as there are no railings and the structure is not the newest anymore :-). At low tide, you can even walk underneath it. Also interesting are the two shipwrecks that ran aground not far from here. In any case, it’s a great spot for photos and exploration.

    A walk on the pier gives a birds eye view of the coastline and of the 2 large, steel, stranded fishing boats washed up on the beach. Walking around them is interesting as you get to see and feel the sheer size of the heavy metal wrecks as they rest parallel to each other on the sand.
