  I discovered Wayando online and took a chance. It's great, beautiful, serene, peaceful. If you need a chilled getaway, this is it. The food is good, the staff is very friendly and caring, the owner Linda does everything to make guests comfortable. Give it a try... you won't regret.

  We spent 2 peaceful nights in Wayando Beach Ecolodge camping with our rooftop tent. Contrary to most "resorts" in the island where crowds come to party and listen to loud music, in Wayando it's just birds in the day and hippo sounds in the night. Eventually we could hear loud churches far away and local fishermen nearby. We camped on the grass under the trees with lake views and loved watching the aigrettes and the rustic fisherman boats passing by. The outdoor hot shower is excellent and you have the choice of using compost toilets or flush toilets near the restaurant. The owner Linda and the whole staff are great sympathetic people. We really enjoyed our stay.

  Very very nice place,very good staf, co-parenting people, we stay there 3 days, owner is also so good so politely. Even staff and cook, they know to cook Indian food also, as well as Kenya.they are real eco friendly.

  We have whole lodge by our group. Enjoy every moment we stayed there. Food are delicious , we had the breakfast near the lake. And at night , a fire is setup we can spend time chit chat . Staff are extremely friendly and environment is peaceful. Strongly recommended.

  We loved our stay at Wayando! Sam and the staff were super friendly and attentive. The place is well kept, food is simple and delicious. The newest room is so airy, light and cleaned very well. We look forward to coming back.
