    It is Christmas, the 25th 2025. You pay a redeemable ticket at the entry gate. 2000 per kid, 3000 per adult. Apparently this covers the meals and swimming. The buffet food is crap, at this point I'm not sure the meat is meat. It looks and tastes weird. No cutlery on the tablesno serviettes, no toothpicks, no tomato sauces, the tickets do not cover drinks. The whole place is a mess. The waitresses have an attitude from here to Nanyuki. The manager is a really nice guy though. Great ambience as well. I believe Misty Mountain would be a great place is a few things were sorted.

    The place is pathetic to say the least. It's like a junkyard. Nothing works there. Stained beddings, no toiletries, tattered towels. It's just dirty and pathetic. It's not worthy a penny.

    Our group came here midweek. We were greeted with fresh juice. Our rooms were large and bathrooms pretty fancy. The view from my room was beautiful. The gardens around the hotel were amazing. The only issue is that my room was right next to the bar which had loud music for awhile.

    I really enjoyed my stay at Misty Mountain. The climate was a bit cold but the service was excellent and made it worth my while. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to unwind away from the city shenanigans
