  From the moment we arrived, Mara Toto Tree Camp exceeded every expectation. The staff here go above and beyond — genuinely warm, incredibly attentive, and always a step ahead to ensure your stay is nothing short of perfection. The service, food, and accommodations were simply beyond amazing. The rooms are beautifully designed, luxurious yet deeply connected to the natural surroundings — a true balance of comfort and wild beauty. The safari experience? Next level. Our guide was exceptionally knowledgeable and passionate — we were literally 6 feet away from lions, zebras, elephants, and every animal we dreamed of seeing. It was like stepping into a documentary, only better because it was real and right in front of us. The manager runs this camp with excellence, but one person who truly made our stay unforgettable was Maggie. She was more than just someone who served us — she was like a personal butler and warm-hearted host all in one. Maggie ensured every detail of our meals, comfort, and experience was flawless. Her kindness, attention to detail, and ability to anticipate our needs made us feel incredibly cared for. She connected with us on a personal level and truly made us feel at home in the middle of the wild. Maggie is a rare gem — she deserves all the recognition, a big bonus, and definitely a raise. She's the heart of Mara Toto, and her presence made this magical place even more special. If you’re considering visiting — just book it. It’s an experience of a lifetime. We’re already planning our return.

  Outstanding lodge in an excellent location. Particularly noteworthy are the friendly and warm atmosphere, an exceptional pool, the singing chef, the knowledgeable guiding, which enables spectacular nature experiences.

  Mara Expedition Camp was a fantasy come true - a smaller venue set in rustic safari style with impeccable service and food; a perfect balance of old and new, and the freedom of the Conservancy, made, without a doubt a true safari experience - the guides made our stay utterly priceless. We hope to return someday.

  Had the most incredible stay at Mara Toto to start our honeymoon! The absolute nicest staff who all went out of their way to make our experience incredible. Saw incredible game and our guide, Wilson, was the best. Can't recommend enough

  We had the most incredible honeymoon experience at the Mara Expedition Camp. The staff were so attentive, friendly and overall amazing! Our guide, Frances, did an INCREDIBLE job showing us as many animals as possible. The food was absolutely DELICIOUS and plentiful, one night we ate while watching the kitchen staff prepare and it was a great experience. Our waiter, Julius, was so attentive and friendly. The managers, Di and JP were excellent and so accommodating. The tents were very comfortable and spacious, not to mention the decor was chic. We planted a tree at the camp on our last day at the camp and hope to go back and eat lunch under it in the future!!
