  My wife and I spent three nights around Christmas 2025 and everyone at Lorian made sure it was the most magical of vacations. Everything is perfect with Lorian. Located 10 minutes from olkiombo airstrip in this bushes along river bank , it’s smack in the middle of Mara, with all parts of Mara accessible within 30 minutes . Choosing Lorian helped reduce commute time and spend more hours in game drives and relaxing. The Manager Arun is friendly and top-notch professional - he and his team have a great network with transfer providers , airlines and rangers - they ensured everything was arranged right from the airport arrival to our departure . Trust them to plan your itinerary- they know what’s the best to do as per your requirements. If we had to choose what was the best part of our stay , it would be the choice of guides that Lorian provides . Mr.Benson was our guide, an acclaimed photographer from the masai tribe , he’s a cheatcode to experience Masai Mara. He made sure we had sightings of the big five , including the elusive leopard and Rhino , under 3 days ! We realised it’s very very lucky to see all 5 in 3 days when we came across travellers who were in Mara for 5+ days without completing the big five. He and the other guide Franklin are very well versed with all the prides and animals of Mara and know where to find them at what time . Also worth of praiseworthy mention is the food & dining team at Lorian. All meals were catered in 3-course fine dining setup , with prior inputs from us on our likes and dislikes. We were honestly surprised by such high-quality fresh food deep inside the game reserve . The Christmas Eve was made memorable with a special cake-cutting with masai songs . And lastly , after the exhilarating game drives, the tented room at Lorian was a perfect sanctuary to rest with clean washrooms and 24hr hot water, comfy and spacious lounge areas with scenic views of the river. At night, the bushes around the tents are frequented by hippos and it was a thrilling experience to sleep under the grunts of hippos. At the end of the trip , we felt our trip was indeed worth all the hype that masai Mara has , thanks largely to Lorian . It’s a hidden gem in masai Mara which we will definitely return to again.

  We spent 3 nights at Lorian, and the service was exceptional. Justin, Simon and Joseph were amazing. Friendly, attentive and always there to assist you. They are beautiful people. The location was great, hippos directly below the camps and just a beautiful spot. Rooms were comfortable, showers worked but need a little maintenance but still good. Highly recommend Lorian. And the food was amazing as well.

  I stayed at Lorian Safari Camp in November 2025 for wildlife photography, and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. From the smooth travel arrangements from Nairobi and pickup at Olkiombo Airstrip to the warm welcome at the camp, everything was perfectly organized. This was my first stay in Masai Mara, and the property exceeded expectations—clean, well-maintained, secure rooms, with 24/7 hot water and uninterrupted electricity. The food was excellent, with great Indian and Western options. Special thanks to Antony for his care and hospitality. Mr. Arun was extremely professional and ensured my stay was comfortable and memorable. Mr. Benson is an exceptional safari guide—highly experienced, friendly, and flexible. He fulfilled my entire wildlife wishlist, including lion cubs, lion parade, cheetah, and leopards with cubs. Overall, an unforgettable trip with sightings of 50+ lions, leopards with cubs, and a cheetah. Highly recommended for wildlife lovers and photographers.

  I recently stayed at Lorian Safari Camp, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. The camp’s location is perfect—right next to a beautiful river where you can often spot crocodiles and hippos, all while enjoying stunning views from the property. The food and hospitality were excellent throughout my stay. A special mention to Manager Arun, who was incredibly detailed, knowledgeable, and helpful. He explained everything clearly, offered great options, and handled my entire itinerary from pickup to drop-off with impressive speed and professionalism. His quick responses and guidance made the booking process completely smooth. The morning and evening safaris were amazing, and we were lucky enough to witness lions hunting a buffalo live—a once-in-a-lifetime moment! Our driver, Benson, deserves huge appreciation. He is extremely knowledgeable about the Maasai Mara and knew exactly where to take us for the best wildlife sightings and views. Overall, my stay at Lorian Safari Camp was wonderful from start to finish. I absolutely loved it and would definitely like to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone planning a safari in the Mara!

  It was a great stay in Lorian The staffs are very friendly and food are catered according to our needs. As I travelled with a picky eating toddler the foods are well prepared to his needs. Our guide cum driver Mr.Samath is super friendly.Mr.Arun is super helpful and answered our doubts patiently. The rooms are very spacious and cleaned properly Overall we enjoyed the stay n safari experience.Its totally worth the money
