  Their hospitality is top notch; food quality, reception, room, hygeine - 100%. Proximity to the jungle entrance adds value. Bonfire, dinner-time movie is also a great addition. If I plan another trip to Mara, hands down, I shall not think twice before coming back to Mara Chui resort. Hakuna Matata!

  If you are an Indian and traveling to masai mara, don't have second thoughts. Perfect place to stay here with lovely Indian food. The hospitality was great.

  On safari in 2025 with my girlfriend. First time in Kenya. Mara Chui was the second lodge on our travels and we stayed 2 nights. I've got to say the staff were great. The food fine by me. Carni and Vegi options. No issues. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable at as were the grounds. There were two let downs. First off, our rooms bathroom was in a terrible mess. I found rubble below the doors and windows plus a cigarette butt on the floor. Not good at all. The second bad point was the gang on Maasi women that are aloud to set up their wares inside the lobby of reception. This means as a guest, you will have to walk past them ten times a day. Not bad if they didn't beg from you every time! I'm not the type to ignore people and so I had many conversations (as best I could) and had a feeling that it didn't matter what I said. I took a walk around the grounds and saw a few things that appeared unused. The place needs a good renovation. I love Kenya but I'll not be back to Mara Chui.

  I think this is the best hotel in the area. I had stayed at another place that was terrible, so I moved here and was extremely satisfied. The staff are lovely, the rooms are clean, and the food is also delicious. The location is very close to the Safari. I think everyone should stay here for a good night’s sleep.

  The overall feel of the accomodation was very good. Service was OK but somehow they don't have small change at hand despite offering service that cost little amounts. We gave them laundry on an evening and by the following night the laundry was still not ready and half of it was still wet (the day was quite hot). The rooms were very cold and the net was 5cm short all around the bed which made it useless. We informed the staff but nothing was done. Food was OK. No WiFi in the rooms but that is the standard in all the camps, but the reception area was not comfortable to stay in and very noisy.
