The small-town hospitality here is genuine — staff remember guests and go out of their way to help. Rooms are simple but clean, food is home-cooked Kenyan fare. It's Mwingi's best option, which admittedly isn't saying much, but it delivers on the basics.

    I was here with 15 people for 3 nights for a wedding. The bath tub was dirty and the hot water was not working in the rooms except for 2 rooms. In an other room, the come not any drop out of the showerbrowser. The wifi was not working despite being told it''s available. You have to request an extra towel everyday in the rooms where people are sharing. Mosquito net was destroyed, the rod felt down every time, when you was touching the net. There was a blackout in town, and this hotel, with a lot of rooms, has not started the power-generator. We needed to charge our powerbanks for the wedding, the phones, laptops, cameras and other devices.. we had to hussle the whole day in our work, because of this disaster hotel. Beside there is a club, they played loud music till 5am! The rest of the group felt the same, were not satisfied and will post here, too :-( The management is sleeping with open eyes!

    Legacy is home away from home. They offer excellent services at affordable charges. The rooms are clean and neat. The food is amazing.

    This place looks like once a upon a time it was a very nice cottage style hotel but that glory left long time ago. The upper floor rooms specifically the top most floor and then one below it had a very funky animal poop smell. From what they described as bat poop. That smile won't allow you to sleep in peace because it's super musky because the area is warm. The ceilings were also super mouldy. Most of the showers were non functional and most rooms in the upper floors lacked water. And considering their lowest price is 3000 ksh. They could renovate the space to make it more guest friendly.

    Good hotel but poorly managed. Pocket friendly price somehow good meals. Hygiene its key. I complaint about the bath tap about 3weeks. To my surprise i came again n found the same stain on the bath tap. Kindly do something about the management, someone is sleeping on his/ her job.
