  A vibrant, massive marketplace! Kongowea Market is huge, honestly one of the largest and most vibrant markets I’ve ever visited. I was exploring potential business opportunities, and I was blown away by the scale, variety of goods, and the energy of the place. You can find just about everything here; from fresh fruits, vegetables, seafood, spices, clothes and more. It's a real melting pot of traders and buyers from across the region, which makes it perfect for both retail and wholesale activity. The place is quite busy and can feel overwhelming at first. I even got lost a couple of times walking through the different sections, but that’s part of the experience. If you're new, it helps to go with someone who knows the area or ask the local traders, they're generally friendly and helpful. One even told me, "getting lost here is a rite of passage." A must-visit if you're in Mombasa and want to see real local commerce in action or if you're looking to explore market opportunities.

  This place is cool! I would put it way ahead of the spice market that’s in the downtown area of Mombasa. If you’re a foreigner, best to go with a friend or a local to ease your comfort. It can be a bit overwhelming. Watch your back as lots of guys moving heavy bags come through the walkways quickly. A super neat place. Give yourself an hour and go after the morning rush is done.

  Good when it comes to the services required by customers. Different kinds of goods are available at affordable prices especially clothes making it easier for customers to acquire. When it comes to cleanliness it is not favoured as garbage is not well managed and disposed in some parts of the market. Security too is a factor that may also make one to have a negative view about this place since it does not adopt a relevant security system that it should drserve.
