  Unfortunately, this is my second experience. And understand, the time of day/year plays a part I'm sure. First time, a friend and I were the only ones. Service was fabulous; timely, friendly, welcoming. And the food, we both ENJOYED. But the second time, we bought the Queens. Excited for them we entered and it was busy, BUT NOT THAT BUSY WHERE WE SAT. In fact, there's a table of four, a couple on chairs- beds and then us. Approached we were, we sat and ordered. Now here is where things went south. We ordered 2 Tusker beers, one warm and one cold along with two cocktails. The waiter walks away and is seen for the next 15 minutes here and there. During this time, the third couple on the ground had entered, ordered drinks and even food. We had yet to even be served drinks or the chance to order food. We sat, curious and discussing the matter when the drinks arrived, beers first. A different beer was brought than what was ordered for one, a cold beer was brought and not room temp. And still, no cocktails nor food order. Then the cocktails arrive with less than a tot (ounce) of alcohol. When one feels unwelcomed, it turns the good experience to a bad one. When you see you and those you are with are not valued as much as others around you, it makes for a terrible experience. Unfortunately, the color of our skin was obvious and it played out in the actions of those serving. Thank you for showing us what Luwa Beach is really about. Needless to say, we won't be back. But it was also obvious, who cares, surely they do not. I had to give the atmosphere a one. Although the area is nice, the energy from the racism and the energy from what some one call the house........ makes for a bad place to be.

  We spent 10 days in this wonderful place. A hotel with a bar and restaurant located right on the beach. Delicious and fresh food. The location suited us very well, because the hotel is away from "mass tourism". Beautiful and pristine beaches. Room with air conditioning, clean and well-equipped. Hotel service at the highest level :-) always nice and smiling. Thanks to the owner Alberto and the hotel staff Dennis, Mary, Shani, Dickson and the Chef :-)

  The service was so nice,the staff were professional but still very friendly. Joshua the chef and Happy are very good at what they do.ken the bartender was very engaging and made sure we got our drinks as we requested,Judy,Mary and chai were also so helpful and were always hands on incase we needed any assistance. The only major problems we had were the lights,kindly work on that and the beach boys who are not respecting people's space!
