    The food portions were good and the prices very fair. The service was okay overall, and I’ll definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

    We frequently visited Chaiiwali when it was located on Brookside Grove and we really enjoyed the food and staff. Since the move to General Mathenge, we have visited many times. Moving to a more stable and permanent location should have been a good thing for the restaurant. We don't expect Michelin Star meals at Chaiiwali. However, even at the expectation of simple and quick Indian street snacks, it has become a disappointing and uninspiring experience.

    We ordered aloo paratha and it was so blend thr was no salt on telling them abt it they said they will pack it for us bt they won't take the order back. So it was hard for them to understand that the paratha needs salt inside. Then they didnt want to give us food at 10:45 pm saying that the kitchen is closed. I am never going thr again.

    I loved their karak chai which was basically cardamon tea but very delicious. I also had the kashmiri which has nuts in it and the button pancakes which were yummy. I'd rate it 7.5/10
