About
Kennedy's coffee walkthrough alone is worth the trip — he'll take you from beans to process to tasting notes like a championship barista. The butter croissants and poke bowls are stellar, and the CBD location makes it the perfect post-exam sanctuary for students.

Amka Cafe at Lonhro Building is a nice spot with a chill atmosphere and good food. Everything was fresh and tasty, and the prices are fair for the quality. Service was great! Ndamaiyu was friendly and attentive. Wait time was short, which made the experience even better. Would definitely come back.

Had our best coffee experience at AMKA. Kennedy is a true coffee champion 🏆 He walked is through so many steps to understand coffee beans, process and different tastes. So hard to drink normal coffee after this 😅 Highly recommend!

A beautiful café with the warmest staff - I felt right at home here. I've visited 6 times this year and it's my go-to cafe. As a student in the CBD, Café Amka is a true sanctuary. It’s the perfect place to rejuvenate after draining lectures or exams. Their butter croissants are perfect and their coffee menu is excellent. I highly recommend Café Amka as a peaceful oasis in the busy CBD

Cafe Amka is a very pleasant spot in Nairobi that immediately stands out for its welcoming vibe and stylish interior. The design is interesting and modern, with details that make the space feel unique. One highlight is the big TV display, which adds a lively touch and makes it a great place to catch up on sports or enjoy entertainment with friends. The food and drinks are equally impressive, offering a mix of delicious options that feel carefully prepared and satisfying. Whether you’re stopping by for a coffee, a full meal, or something refreshing, the quality shines through. Altogether, Cafe Amka blends comfort, taste, and atmosphere in a way that makes it a must‐visit for anyone looking for a memorable cafe experience in Nairobi.

Great, welcoming restaurant for dining in . The atmosphere is perfect for work, catching up with friends, date or solo. Staff is very kind and had good recommendations. I had the poke bowl and the ceremonial cacao and both were delicious! Food is healthy and fresh and the tropical cacao was subtly sweet, calming, and unique.
