One of the last remnants of the rainforest that once stretched across Central Africa, and birdwatchers ID'd 76 species in four days with a local guide. The canopy is thick, the trails are mossy, and the air feels different—therapeutic, people say.
It's a great place to be. Beautiful scenes and good ambience. I encourage the local government to tap into this great resource and market it as a major tourist attraction in Western Kenya.
